“Il pleut, il mouille, c’est la fête à la grenouille!” If you speak French then you may have heard this nursery rhyme before. Despite coming from France, I always found it fitting in England, where Spring feels like never-ending rain. It was on one of those wet days that I thought about a little frog, hopping on lilies in a pond. I imagined her poetic world, with other distinguished animals, subtle plaids and checks, and of course some spring florals to brighten the day.
